I started working out when I was 15. Training for both wrestling and bodybuilding gave me a wide experience of training techniques: I learned how to lift heavy weights safely and effectively, while maintaining a high level of flexibility and agility.

I began personal training after I qualified at the London YMCA Level 2 in 1991. I took up Taekwondo in July 2009, and a year later returned to the YMCA for my Personal Trainer Award Level 3.

I treat everyone as an individual. As we work together - no matter your body type - we'll share a real sense of satisfaction seeing you improve, both physically and mentally.

Where I train

PARIS GYM:
I have trained at Paris Gym for 15 years: a men-only gym in Vauxhall South London. The gym is gay-owned and run and offers a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Recently expanded, the gym is 8,000 square feet and boasts 74 weight training machines and 20 cardio machines, by Hammerstrength, Cybex, FreeMotion, Strive, Hoist, Gym80, Lifefitness and Nautilus - possibly the largest and most varied selection in London.

There is a large free-weights area, with Olympic bars, 43 pairs of dumbbells (from 2.5kgs to 60kgs/132pounds) and 10 sets of fixed barbells, with enough flat, incline and decline benches for even the busiest of times.

Other facilities include a stand-up tanning capsule, sauna, hairdresser, free internet access (ADSL) - and very clean showers!

The Southbank gym is arranged over 3 levels with a wide range of equipment to suite all fitness requirements, including:

1 Hour session: £45
Block booking of 10 sessions: £400
2 People training at the same time (friends / couples): £70


If you would like to train at Paris Gym, your first session includes free entry - you don't have to sign anything! You get a chance to see how I work and check out the gym. If you're happy with everything (and I'm sure you will be) - becoming a member is easy. There is no joining fee and there are a variety of payment plans to suit every budget.

At no point do you have to sign a contract, just book your sessions in advance to suit you.


As well as offering personal training, I can also provide a personalised fitness plan for a one-off fee of £90. This covers everything from your workout regime to your diet. This is ideal if you want professional advice but can't travel to London.
